The We See You Project – Rules and How It Works

About the Project

The We See You Project is a collaboration between LEAD and Special Gifts NZ that celebrates the leaders, staff, volunteers, and organisations making a difference in communities across Aotearoa New Zealand.

Through public nominations, we recognise the people whose mahi often happens behind the scenes and help share their stories of impact.

How it works:

Nominate someone doing great work in the community sector through our social media channels. We'll select a recipient, share their story, and deliver a Special Gifts NZ appreciation box to recognise their contribution. Because the people strengthening our communities deserve to be seen.

How to Nominate

  1. Watch for nomination posts on LEAD's Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn channels.

  2. Comment on the nomination post with:

    • The name of the person or organisation you are nominating.

    • A brief explanation of why they deserve recognition.

  3. Nominations must be submitted before the advertised closing date and time.
