Training Bite (Blenheim): Boards & Managers - Getting the balance right

  • Marlborough Community Centre 25 Alfred Street Blenheim New Zealand (map)

This 2 hour workshop gets down to the nitty gritty of good governance, and deals with the most common question and concern that people in non-profits have about governance. How can boards and managers constructively lead together?

Is there a clear dividing line between governance and day-to-day management, and how do we sort that out in practice? Does that change over time - how is it effected by the stage of the organisation's lifecycle it is in?

The seminar will be led by Garth Nowland-Foreman, LEAD’s ‘Governance Guru’, an experienced trainer and facilitator, and non-profit governance expert.

Pizza & juice provided.

No charge.

This workshop is in partnership with Volunteer Marlborough so registrations are directly with them.
